Blustery Day
Despite the preview of nasty winter weather to come,
more than 15 intrepid SIPers turned out for the November 8 lunch at Violette's. Among them were new members Charles and Paula Stukenborg (checking menu) and Dan Logan and Rosalie Zimmerman. Janet Caffo, director of the U.C. Consumer Fraud Bureau, provided tips on preventing identity theft, keeping tabs on charitable giving and helping detect Medicare fraud.

GAME DAY UPDATE

Three full bridge tables, two mahjong tables, and various other tables with members and friends playing various games spell a great success for S.I.P's first Game Day. There were seven full tables of gamers. (Double clicking on the photos in the slide show will enlarge them for a close-up view.)

There was a refreshment table laden with goodies and several friends asked us to please repeat this event.

And we might.
